It was quite rainy this morning, and I notice how it’s getting darker and darker in the evening. Fall is here! The good news is that it was quite sunny once the afternoon came around.
I was making soup in the kitchen this afternoon and my knee started to wobble. I didn’t do anything strenuous or make any sudden moves, it just started to give way. Within a few minutes I could barely walk and went to bed for a nap. This was very similar to the episode I had at the start of the year, but this time I was not napping, I was actually up and doing things. I’m going to have to get an appointment with the doctor to try and figure out what’s going on. I’ve already had x-rays, and nothing showed up there. I believe he mentioned that they could go one level deeper and check out the ligaments and tendons, so I’m going to see if we can get that done.
Katie and Bobby cleaned and played some video games today. They played Minecraft together.

My wife’s friend, the chef from London, and her daughter, who will be attending Dalhousie to study marine biology, missed their flight from Vancouver tonight, so they will be arriving tomorrow morning instead. 43 people were supposed to go to Comox but the plane left 7 minutes early instead of waiting for 10 minutes. The good thing is that WestJet screwed up, and gave them a room for the night, which was nice.
The guest bedroom is ready when they arrive (see photo to the left).
Tomorrow Bobby will find out which class of the six available he will be in! Hopefully he will be able to be in the same class with a lot of his current friends.
My wife was able to get a Canadian Amazon card. Mine is next…
