Bobby rode his bike to Huband this morning for his first day of grade six. He loves his teacher this year, which is great. Esca and Raheem, who were in his class last year, are in class with him again this year.
My legs is still acting up so Katie’s mother drove her to Vanier at 7:40 am this morning! She will be meeting Emma there to help greet the new Vanier students. Two years ago Katie was one of these “new students”. They had hot dogs for lunch while there. You can see the agenda in the photo to the left. At 12:10 pm, shortly after noon, it was time for her mother to pick her up in the van and drive her home.
Katie found out that she has science class with Madeline this year and she’s not too happy about that. She’s going to try to change classes if she can. She wanted to change science class anyway so that she could be with Emma and Amelia. Madeline says that she wants to change classes as well, so we will see what happens.
My wife drove the kids to their viola/violin class with Daisy this afternoon. We found out from Daisy why Amy has not been very communicative the past few weeks…she had shingles!
