Day #75 (Fri., Mar. 19, 2010) – My Turn With The Baby Harness
Little Katie slept for 8 hours and 50 minutes last night…a new record. This means that my wife and I are able to get some much needed rest as well.
My turn with the baby harness today. Quite the contraption. My wife helped me put it on, and little Katie into it.
My wife stayed home and did some studying while I took little Katie around the neighborhood. She seemed to really like it. After a while I bent over to see if she was still awake, and her eyes were wide open taking in the world. The photo on the right shows the “Katie eye view from the harness” as she looks at the water fountain in the lake.
As we were exploring the neighborhood I was concerned that little Katie’s eyes were getting too much sun, so I tried to shield her eyes with my hand. She promptly batted them out of the way. There is a big wide world out there, and little Katie wants to make sure that she sees every minute of it.
This evening little Katie was back into “fussy mode”, so my wife and I took her for a drive. We don’t take her on these drives to put her to sleep, just so that she can calm down and stop being fussy. She likes these drives…when the swing won’t work, these drives usually do.
