Day #1072 (Mon., Dec. 10, 2012) – Christmas Presents Galore
When I got home from work Katie met me at the door with mittens on her feet. Apparently she put them on herself. I was asking her why she put them on her feet but she had another agenda. She kept telling me “Daddy I have something to tell you” and took me to the Christmas tree. As it turns out three packages arrived in the mail…two from Canada and one from Lithuania. Katie handed me one of the packages that had my name on it…she wanted me to open it. It took some convincing that we had to wait til Christmas.
Take a look at the photo to the left. Like Katie’s “Candy Cane Onesie”? She sure is into the festive cheer!
We did open the package from Lithuania and there were two “glow sticks” that pulsated in various colors when you turned them on. There were also two Christmas bulbs with animals on them…Katie took great delight in showing me those.
This evening we went for a drive to look at Christmas lights. She hasn’t quite got the English right in her requests. She will say “I very want to see”…she’s missing the “much”.
