Katie’s friend Helen who lives down the street had a birthday this morning. My wife took her over via stroller from 10am to 11:30am. Princess Tea Party was the theme (see photo to the left) and about four girls attended. The girls started off by making crafts, such as a door knocker and a mug coated with stickers and then played some games. Katie ate half a cupcake on the stroll home. Time ran out so they didn’t open the gifts.
No nap for Katie today. We thought she would go to bed soon after the birthday party as she seemed real tired…but that was not to be. We didn’t know what to do with her so we decided that we would go and run some errands.
First stop was Home Depot where we got some curtain rods and made a couple of copies of the main door key. We then went to AC Moore where my wife picked up some large sheets of construction paper (for palm leaves and wild animal footprints). As we were about to drive home we decided that we had better stop off at Sam’s Club to pick up some extra packing and duct tape.
On the drive home Katie slept in the car. This means that she will be up til…
