Day #1328 (Fri., Aug. 23, 2013) – Meeting Margaret
We interviewed Margaret this evening. She is going to school in Burlington and is free on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so her schedule fits perfectly for when we would like to have a babysitter for Katie.
Katie employed Margaret as soon as she saw her…down on the floor playing “Jungle Animals”. Katie gave her three blocks and said “You can use these”…but soon took two of the blocks back. Margaret enjoys acting in her spare time. She will be starting with us on Tuesday.
Just before Margaret left we gave Katie a Dollar Store present…a “Make Your Own DoorKnob Sign Kit” (see photo to the right). Katie was more into putting them on the doorknobs than she was actually putting stickers on them beforehand.
Later this evening we got out the slinky toy that we gave to Katie a while back. I would hold one end of the spring and she would take the other end and move to the other end of the living room. She would cackle with delight as she let go of her end and the spring sprung into action. Soon she had it wrapped around her legs and was dancing around the house.
