Day #1437 (Tue., Dec. 10, 2013) – Taiwan Purse
I took the morning off work as I had to go to the dentist. I dropped my wife off at work and ran a few errands and then went home to change. When I arrived home Katie was up with Nicky. What a lovely child. She smiled and said hello to me and mentioned that Nikky had made her a bowl of cereal. When I was leaving for work she did pass by me and say “Out of my way”…which was rather rude and I made her apologize for, but other than that she was a delight. Too bad this tends to wear off and the fussiness comes out by the time I get home from work.
Jue Lan, our neighbor, stopped by this afternoon. They just got back from Taiwan and brought some tea for my wife and a nice bamboo purse for Katie (see photo to the left). My wife invited her to Katie’s Christmas Concert and she was delighted.
Katie and I were drawing this evening when all of a sudden she drew these wonderful “ghosts”. Smiling faces as she calls them.
