Day #1975 (Mon., June 1, 2015) – Little Bobby’s Two-Month Shots

2015-06-01 - SkylightI just had to put a photo into the blog showing our new skylight in the kitchen (see photo to the right). When we leave the kitchen now we are forever looking for the switch due to all the light it gives off.

Today is the first day in a long while I haven’t taken Katie to preschool. In fact, she is done at that school. I won’t need to go back til little Bobby turns two and it is his turn to attend.

Hannah spent the whole day with Katie today. At 9:45 am they left to go the library so that Katie had time to roam around and Hannah had time to get a library card. There was a story time at 10:30 am that Katie enjoyed quite a bit. They got home at noon, had lunch, and then played the rest of the afternoon with Katie’s animals.

Alma’s mom Katie came to walk Lucy’s dog Zach and left Alma to play with Katie.

Little Bobby had his 10:10 am nurse appointment this morning for the remaining 2-month shots. After that my wife took him to Lowe’s so that she could get a hanging basket of impatiens for our patio.

Little Bobby wasn’t very happy today – he didn’t sleep much and was pretty fussy. We ended up giving him a bit of tylenol this evening and that seemed to calm him down.

We learned that Jonathan Howes, the former Mayor of Chapel Hill and the person we bought our house from, had died.
