Day #2417 (Tue., Aug 16, 2016) – Organic Vegetables
My wife took Katie to Spence’s farm this morning. We ordered some fresh vegetables from them last night so they will be available when we pick Katie up this afternoon.
When I left for work Arnesa was taking Bobby for a walk. Of course he wanted to get into the car. I had to tell him that I would give him a drive when I got home this evening.
I picked up Katie at 3pm at Spence’s Farm. The bag of organic vegetables was waiting for me at the counter. The girl said that they were very excited about this and that we were their first customers. They wanted the kids to take a sign home to advertise the horse riding lessons so Katie got one to put on our front lawn (see photo to the right).
I’m still having eye problems so I stopped off at Jason the optometrist office at 5:20pm this evening. He saw a couple of small particles in the eye and blew them out. Hopefully I will be fine from now on.
We had shrimp with salad this evening for dinner courtesy of the organic vegetables from Spence’s Farm. My wife loved the veggies. Bobby loved the tomatoes. You can sure taste the difference.
As I was feeding Bobby this evening Robin stopped by with a spring and wanted to play fetch. Of course Bobby got interested and stopped eating at that point. I let him out of the high chair and he started to throw the spring to Robin.
I showed Bobby a YouTube video of a toy ride-on tractor this evening and he was very excited.
