There was a 2 hour delay in the opening of Glenwood school this morning. On the drive over Katie told me that they had one minute cut from their recess time by their French teacher as the class was not listening to the teacher and quieting down. He told me that Helen and she were being quiet so why did they have to be penalized. This was a good teachable moment about how you sometimes suffer even when it is not your fault.
I saw Arnesa walking down our street as I drove home this evening. She told me that her husband was going to pick her up and she wanted a bit of a walk.
You can see our kids name in chalk on the driveway in the photo to the left.
My wife told me that Bobby hit his head three times today. He is much more adventuresome and physical than Katie was.
It’s funny to hear Bobby “talk”. He doesn’t say words as much as “sounds”. He accentuates the last part of words. For example, he will say “uck” when he points to a truck.
This evening Bobby and I watched a number of short YouTube videos as my wife was putting Katie to bed. We watched some “Monster Trucks”. We also played some of the “George of the Jungle” and “Long Ranger” themes. I notice that he has started to enjoy cartoons more. He will watch the Netflix show “Goldilocks & The Three Bears” for example.
