Day #2587 (Thu., Feb. 2, 2017) – Spider In A Box
There was a racket in the kitchen early this morning. A raccoon managed to get into the house and there was chocolate powder all over the kitchen floor.
Katie went to her dance recital this afternoon. They are currently practicing the carousel scene from Mary Poppins and will be performing it in June.
Bobby is all over daddy these days. He doesn’t realize that daddy is recovering from an operation. As long as I play with him and get up and down and “Sssttt” on command he’s fine.
There is this toy spider in a box in the bedroom (see photo to the left). When Bobby comes into the room to watch television he will point at it and say “Pssttt” (or something like that). When I made gestures like I’m a spider he will say “No, no, no” and sometimes cry… Little does he know that “Man” was bitten by a radioactive one of these.
Bobby had a nice snack of 1/2 banana this evening. He enjoyed this but didn’t touch the strawberries or grapes I gave him. He did munch on some cheese strands though…
This evening Bobby came up to my wife and I and yelled “Mouse”. Sure enough, he ran into the laundry room and got a “Mickey Mouse” figurine that was lying on the floor.
