Day #203 (Sun., July 25, 2010) – High End Furniture
When I woke up this morning little Katie was beside me. My wife had just fed her and I stroked her cheek and made some “baby cooing sounds”…which she responded to with “baby cooing sounds” in return.
Around 7:30am we were out on our friends patio (see photo to the right). Little Katie was playing with a plush green frog that is the toy of our friend’s boy. I soon put her on the hammock for a swing and she LOVED it… We will have to get a hammock at some point…daddy likes them too…
By 11:30am we were on the road back home. As we passed through High Point my wife and I thought that my mother-in-law might like to see some of the “top notch” furniture stores. High Point is known for it’s “high end” furniture after all. While we were in one of the stores I put little Katie in one of the beds to take her picture. I started to dance around the room and clap (basically making a fool of myself) but boy did she ever love it!!! She smiled and laughed and we got a number of great photos as a result.
We stopped off for dinner at Cracker Barrel. They brought out this fancy little wooden device to put on their wood chairs. It holds the baby seat securely in place so you don’t need to worry about it falling. Of course everyone was fascinated with little Katie…
5pm and we’re home safe and sound. Daddy is done…time for bed…
