Maple had a “Doggie Date” with Mishka, our neighbor Carolyn’s German Shepherd, this morning. The kids are still both sick so only my wife went. Carolyn went to a horse show in Calgary last weekend. She wore a Canada hat and won a $1000 prize! You can see Maple attacking Carolyn in the photo to the right.
Jax is fitting in to University life at Carlton in Ottawa. He sent Katie some pics of his new MUN club there. He found somebody there who reminds him of Mr. Randall.
Katie and I were going to do some CVEMUN website work today but she was not feeling well. Plenty of time when she feels better.
Bobby played with Ethan all day day. I dropped in a couple of times to tell him about my new Minecraft world and to see if he wanted to check it out but he was busy with Ethan.
Tomorrow is a day off school for both Katie and Bobby, although it isn’t actually a holiday. Monday, September 21 is a Non-Instructional Day for Comox Valley Schools, which means there are no regular classes at either Vanier or Huband. So, despite it being an otherwise normal Monday around Courtenay, both kids get an extra day at home before heading back to school on Tuesday.
