I took Bobby to get his haircut at “Extreme Ends Salon & Spa” near the Butcher’s Block this afternoon for a haircut by Erin. Today is of the essence as the Huband students are getting their school pictures taken tomorrow!
When my wife took the kids to “Extreme Ends” a while back Erin gave Katie her haircut and this was the only one that they liked. Bobby hated Debbie’s haircut and my wife hated John’s haircut. Strict Instructions: “Don’t let her wash Bobby’s hair”… And Daddy? His haircuts are currently being taken care of at “Chez Daddy’s” in the Barn Suite!
This place has a pretty interesting entrance door… Like a castle! (see photo to the right).
On the way home from Extreme Ends I stopped off at “Triple O’s” to treat Bobby. He didn’t want a burger or anything, but did get a large pumpkin caramel shake, which he loved!
During the drive today Bobby and I discussed what the two of us could do as a project on Minecraft together. Bobby suggested putting an outpost on the moon. Cool idea! I wonder if ChatGPT wants to chime in? Let’s call today Daddy/Son Day #114.
There was some talk of me picking Katie up at Vanier as her let out time was similar to when Bobby’s haircut would be done, but my wife picked her up.
The McDonalds down the road I frequent in the evenings is closed for renovations. Anna, the Filipino manager, waited on me at the drive thru. I told her that I was unable to come for the past week or so as I strained my leg. We joked about the new McDonalds having a lounge in the back where they serve “Red Horse”, a Filipino beer. I also mentioned that they might have a karaoke machine too now! I guess the renovations will be over on September 25th, so another week!
It looks like my wife might be going to conference in Vancouver for work this upcoming March 9-11. We will find out soon.
My wife has an optometrist meeting tomorrow so she took the day off. As a result she will be taking Katie to school. Daddy gets to sleep in!
Oh, and there is NO school on Monday!
