Day #2818 (Sat., Sep. 23, 2017) – Daddy/Daughter Day #61
I will be having my knee replacement surgery next Thursday so this will be the last weekend available to have a Daddy/Daughter Day with Katie. So, Daddy/Daughter Day #61 it is!
No movie today, but we sure did a lot of things. Katie mentioned this past week that she wanted to go to the cupcake store and get another cupcake, so our activities focused around that.
Here’s the agenda for today:
- The Dollar Store – Pick up some ping pong balls as a possible solution to creating the necklace that my wife will be wearing as part of her Halloween costume this year. She will be the nurse in the “Fireman Sam” videos.
- McDonald’s – Katie got a happy meal. I had the grilled bacon chicken salad with balsamic dressing.
- Walmart – I want to get a replacement toy tool set for Bobby as he is losing the items in the original set. I told Katie that she could get a toy as well, up to $20 in value. As soon as she saw the mechanical dog in the photo to the right she said “I’m good”. I asked her if we could leave and she said fine.
- Small cakes – Katie picked out a chocolate cupcake with pink icing. This is cupcake #4.
- Halloween Store – First visit there this year. We will bring Bobby back tomorrow for his first visit ever.
- Wholefoods – We are out of goat’s milk.
