Day #2894 (Fri., Dec. 8, 2017) – Picking Up Katie Early Due To Snow
I dropped Katie off at school today. No stomach pains or anything. No problem. Go figure…
Snow is on the way. I picked up Katie just around noon and took her home. The sign-in computer didn’t work so they gave me a note to show to anyone who asked who I was or where I was going. I met Katie in the cafeteria. We had to go to her classroom to get her backpack, then home.
Katie borrowed the book shown from the library (see photo to the right) and read it all the way home.
There was Rain/Sleet/Snow in the air by the time I got home. My wife sent Lizzie home early as it was getting bad outside.
As of late Bobby has been running up to me asking about a “Special Present”. He seems to believe that there is an endless supply of them on the hutch in the dining room. Does he expect one every day now?
Katie’s teacher sent us a note today along with her grading assignments. She said that she has noticed a “change in her attitude” for the positive as of late. What does that mean? We are going to set up an appointment to see her.
