Bobby was home sick today. Katie went to school but asked to be picked up early after guitar class. Maple kept Bobby company (see photo to the left)
My wife went to the local Credit Union to open up an account this afternoon, then to Staples to drop off some Amazon returns after that.
Next week my wife will be in Duncan for the first week of her new job. The kids will be starting Spring Break on Monday. She doesn’t have any meetings planned for Friday, so the tentative plan is to drive back to Courtenay on Thursday evening.
One of our hens, Hazy, wants to be a mom. She refused to leave the nest and my wife has to pick her up twice to get her to roost. With my wife going to Duncan the last thing we need is to deal with some little chicks. They would require a separate place, and a heat lamp, and protection from predators such as rats.
