I drove Katie to school at 8:50 am this morning. Bobby is still recuperating due to his leg injury. He took a hot bath last night that didn’t help so he was utilizing ice packs today.
Katie had both Interact and Model UN today so I picked her up at 4:30 pm this afternoon. She was particularly excited about Model UN as there were a lot of people and a lot of potential friends. One of the people that they visited at elementary school last year was there.
After dropping Katie off at home I went to get the Camry auto insurance policy renewed. The policy was up a bit over last years since we have added Katie as a “Learning” driver. He asked me if she was a “New” driver yet as this will increase the policy quite a bit.
My wife’s glasses are ready at Costco so she went to pick them up this afternoon. Katie placed her request for hot dogs from their takeout window.
Our rooster is molting! He has fancy tail feathers now (see photo to the left)!
My wife gave Bobby some math contest problems from the University of Waterloo today. Grades 5/6 ones. He did great and enjoyed solving them. My wife plans to give him grades 7/8 math problems tomorrow.
My wife is in a workshop all day tomorrow so her responses could be slow. She decided to do it via zoom as opposed to driving to Victoria for the workshop in person.
