My wife and I met with Katie’s teacher, two social workers, the school nurse, and the principal at Katie’s school regarding her attendance. We told them that it has gotten better as of late. They told us that they are here to support us and will do whatever they can to help Katie feel welcome and comfortable. “Whatever they can”…hmmm… How about “Whatever they should”…
Bobby asked me to read him a story this evening. The problem is, he had ripped out a lot of the animated pages when he was younger. No problem. Daddy made some animations and put them in place with Scotch tape (see photo to the left).
My wife is teaching Katie how to tell time. She is getting it…just needs a bit more practice.
Katie wanted me to read to her this evening. She’s reading Charlotte’s Web, so I read a few pages of it and put her to bed. My eyes really need glasses these days.
