Day #2999 (Fri., Mar. 23, 2018) – Reading Polar Bear Books

2018-03-23 - Polar Bear BookMy wife took Katie to Glenwood this morning as the kids were showing off the “Polar Bear” books that they made (see photo to the right). Katie went into great detail showing my wife the “Polar Bear” book that she personally developed. Miss Stanford was saying how great she is in participation during discussion time.

I came home from work early this afternoon so that we could take the kids to the Chick-Fil-A in Durham. For some reason, Bobby didn’t want to play in the play area first, perhaps it had too many people in it for his comfort zone.

I asked for grilled nuggets but gave me regular fried chicken nuggets. I can’t wait for the robots to arrive so that there will be no more screw ups. I see that Walmart is planning on having them do inventory on the shelves.

Bobby tried various sauces but he didn’t like them. I know better than to ask Katie if she would like to try sauces…her answer will be a definite no.

Bobby was insistent on having his ice cream. He took a lick and then went back to play in the play area. He managed to knock it off the table and onto the ground. What a mess.

My wife went to Sam’s club while I tended to the kids. She got a large drink dispenser for our future parties.

I went for an hour-long dip in the O2 Fitness pool this evening. I had better take advantage of it while I can. I am thinking of canceling my membership at the end of April.
