I got up early this morning to upload some PLR cartoons onto my phone for Bobby as we can’t get his DVD to work. Alas, he didn’t really like them much… YouTube stuff holds his fascination.
We were later getting going this morning as I had to shave off my beard. I want to look respectable to the foster family that is giving us Maple. We were off to Albemarle at 9am.
Katie kept asking us “Are we there yet”. We got a text from the Bosnian girls saying how much they missed Katie and how much Omar missed Bobby. My wife let Katie text back.
We got to meet the foster family and their other German Shepherd dogs. The photo to the right shows one of the toys that they gave us in a “care package” for Maple. They told us to get the “hard” nylon toys as German Shepherds will just tear apart the other toys. These rings are good because the dogs will put the ring up and down on their snout as they play.
On the way back Maple slept on the console for the most part. This is the little “tray” between my wife and me in the front of the van. Bobby slept in the back of the van so Katie got a chance to look at the DVD player.
When we got home Maple ran under the couch to hide from “active” Bobby who wanted to pick her up and hug her. My wife sent the kids out to the backyard pool to give Maple a rest.
This evening Maple slept in Katie’s room. I took Bobby to the bedroom to watch cartoons while my wife got Maple’s sleeping quarters ready.
