Day #3086 (Mon., Jun 18, 2018) – Tiger Rescue Camp
Today is my first day back at work. As I was leaving my wife and Katie were in the front yard with Maple. Maple is gradually getting more accustomed to her new home. She will roam around a lot more when Bobby is not there to “terrorize” her…
Today is my first day back at work.
Cameron helped Bobby build a “Big Lorry” today (see photo to the left).
Katie went to the Tiger Rescue Camp today. She will be there all week. She told me this evening that there was more instruction than she anticipated. I think she thought that there would be more playing games. At any rate, they are learning all about tigers and their habitats and how to keep them healthy and happy.
It looks like things are shaping up that my wife is the “Alpha” in dog terms and that Katie is Maple’s “best friend”. I would anticipate this as my wife is the one who feeds Maple and she spends the night sleeping in Katie’s room. Not sure where Bobby and I fit into the equation yet… Bobby can chase Maple around and make her hide under the couch now, but she will be a LOT bigger in two months. We’ll see where the relationship goes then. Daddy? Well, I think he’s just “another border in the house”, like the cats, as far as Maple is concerned… 🙂
