Day #3115 (Tue., Jul 17, 2018) – Bobby The Border Collie
My wife took Maple to the vet this morning for a checkup and Bobby tagged along. You can see them playing together in the photo to the left. The vet said that every boy needs a dog.
Katie made a couple of lovely pillows today at the Carborro Art Camp. When I got home she was having a pool party at our house with Katie, the real estate agent’s, daughter. I guess that Katie will be staying with Lucy for a couple of weeks as Lucy’s health is deteriorating.
Bobby got sent to his room this evening for being bad. My wife told me that he put a week’s worth of supply of cat food into Maple’s bowl, added in some kitty litter, and then fed it to Maple. He got a “5-minute” timeout in his room. He doesn’t like these timeouts but I don’t know if 5 minutes is enough? We’ll have to see and adjust accordingly.
Bobby is a human version of a border collie. If he is interested and engaged in something he is the best boy on the planet. But if he is bored? Watch out! Like a border collie, he will destroy the house if left on his own and looking for something to do.
