Day #3118 (Fri., Jul 20, 2018) – Katie’s Improv Performance
Katie’ improv class was giving a performance today at 3:30 pm so I left work early in order to attend (see photo to the right). I parked in the handicap spot just outside Rise Donuts as they were doing a lot of construction in front of the theater.
Arnesa planned to bring Bobby and Ayra but they were still eating just before the performance began so my wife decided that she would take Katie and meet them at the park near Arnesa’s house afterward.
Katie really enjoyed the improv class. She basically had two separate performances. One was in a skit in which she was a kitten and the other was reading a monologue in front of the audience. She told me that she was not nervous. It will be interesting to see if Bobby goes for these sort of things when he gets older. I’m sure he would probably do fine if given the chance, but I suspect if he had the choice between this and let’s say a science camp where he could build cars and such, he would choose the latter.
We took Maple for a walk this evening. I walked all the way to the treehouse and back but everyone else got waylaid at Helen’s house.
