Day #3258 (Fri., Dec. 7, 2018) – Combo & Twinkle
Did I ever show you a picture of Combo and Twinkle, our two “Elves on the Shelf”? If not, you can see a photo of them to the left. Combo is missing his boot…I saw Bobby playing with it the other day.
At noon I picked Bobby up at preschool and we went to pick my wife up at the windshield shop in Carrboro. The van windshield got hit by a rock and needs to be replaced.
I drove over to TJ’s this evening. Terry, one of the employees, said that it was a record day in sales by 5 pm. People are getting supplies before the snow flies on Saturday night. They had no milk (except for a few fat free). No eggs, no soup, only a few slices of bread.
My wife was tired and went to bed early so I tended to Bobby. This evening I tried to put him to bed without “stuffing” him and it was an exhausting experience. He wanted a plush cheetah to sleep with. It was in Katie’s room so we went in to get it. Of course Maple got out of Katie’s room and knocked Bobby’s cereal bowl onto the floor. What a mess!
Katie seems to be fussy and whining while playing the piano. It would be nice if she could see what a great opportunity it is.
