I was able to sleep through the night all night. No early morning run to the coffee shop for daddy. We all went to the beach. There was not enough wind for the kite, so while my wife took Katie swimming I stayed on the beach and played with Bobby. He found a “sea cricket” and we played with that for a bit. Most of them were dead on the shore, but this one seemed to survive for some reason.
We all napped in the afternoon. When my wife got up early she took Katie to the aquarium again while I stayed home with Bobby. Once Bobby got up, my wife and Katie were talking about the parrot exhibit (see photo to the right), so we all went to the aquarium again. You buy nector for $1.00 and the parrots will come land on you to eat it. One little girls screamed and the birds all flew off in a panic.
This evening we went to the beach and with the great wind conditions coming off the ocean, we managed to get the “Firebird” kite that Aven gave Bobby off the ground. We took photos and videos as proof.
We were all planning to go to the fireworks display this evening, but baby Ayra would not cooperate. In the end, Arnesa and Dzenen stayed with her while I drove my wife and Katie and Bobby to the boardwalk. I dropped them off and went to the Food Lion for watermelon drink and lollipops and then came back and got them when it was over.
