Day #3631 (Sun., Dec. 15, 2019) – Aven’s Birthday Party
We had the 2nd Day of Christmas celebration this morning. Today I brought out the Trader Joe’s jelly bean assortment (see photo to the right). The kids and my wife and I all took turns trying the “Jelly Bean Taste Test Challenge”. We each get the same bean and try to guess what it is. We always have Bobby go first as he will just say what the previous person, usually his sister, says. Unfortunately, there was an overabundance of some jellybeans so not everyone got to taste each and every bean. The colorings were also a bit confusing, so it was not always easy to tell which were the mango and which were the tangerine jellybeans for example. At any rate, we all have fun.
This afternoon my wife took Bobby and Katie to Aven’s birthday party. Unfortunately, they had to come home early as Bobby was rather fussy. Katie was quite upset about this because she rarely gets to see Violet, Aven’s sister.
