Day #3795 (Wed., May 27, 2020) – Space Flight Cancelled
We as a family were looking forward to the first astronauts in nearly a decade going up in space this afternoon. Unfortunately, the 3 pm flight was canceled due to bad weather. The next window is Saturday.
The kids were really fussy today so I took them on a drive. We were checking out the restaurants to see which were open (not many), and how many people were wearing masks (even fewer). Bobby actually fell asleep in the car. We passed by the Lumina in Southern Village and I see that the pizza joint closed down (see photo to the right). They probably got a lot of their traffic from the Lumina and with it closed, they could not sustain their business model… Too bad…
