I did a lot of grocery shopping this evening. Sunday evenings is usually not the best as the stores have been “picked through” during the weekends, but oh well…
The first stop was Trader Joe’s for the usual supplies. They had almost everything I wanted, but they were out of chocolate milk and “juice boxes” for some reason. We used to get a TON of juice boxes at Trader Joe’s when the kids were growing up, but they don’t even have a place on the shelf for them anymore. Have they gone out of favor?
The next stop was Whole Foods. I haven’t been to Whole Foods in over two years, since before COVID-19 struck. They have totally rearranged the store. The deli counter is not as large, and the bread has been moved over to aisle #8. I did manage to get some rye bread for my wife, and those citrusy type lollipops that Katie loves so much (see photo to the right).
I put Bobby to bed this evening. He tossed and turned a bit, but was soon out. He is sure sleeping a lot these days. We are wondering if he has COVID, as sleeping a lot is a sign…
