Day #4491 (Sat., Apr. 23, 2022) – Raspberry Kringle
My wife took the kids to viola/violin class this morning while I went grocery shopping. They had the class outside, and they really enjoyed that. They went strawberry picking afterward (see photo to the left).
It seemed like I spent most of the day grocery shopping. First Trader Joe’s and then Harris-Teeter. I picked up a raspberry kringle (kind of like a huge donut) at TJ’s.
I bought a rotisserie chicken at Harris-Teeter but apparently left it at the store, so I drove back to get it. Since I had to go get this I stopped off at Trader Joe’s again to return some of the Greek Yogurt that went bad.
When I got home Bobby was playing on the computer. I asked him if he behaved in violin class this morning. His response was, “Do you think I would be playing on the computer if I was bad”?
Later today I took the kids outside to get some exercise. We played some basketball and threw the baseball back and forth. Maple was simply worn out I threw the ball to her so much. We finished up the day by guessing 4-letter words, like a 4-letter word that starts with “t” and ends with “e”… “tree”.
