We are returning the golf cart at 11:30 am this morning so we drove around the island this morning to get our money’s worth. We stopped off at an ice cream stand so the kids could each get a cherry slushie. I picked up a couple of ice creams for my wife and I.
On the golf cart drive around the island Katie and I discussed buying a house here on the island and her setting up a business to sell her seashell jewelry.
I went to the Ocracoke Variety Store this afternoon to take lots of video on what they have to offer and their prices as well. My wife took the kids souvenir shopping. Katie got some T-shirts and Bobby came back with a toy turtle and toy shark.
For our afternoon meal we had a cheese-filled pizza that we picked up frozen at the Ocracoke Variety Store.
This evening we went to Springer’s Point to see the sunset and then to the beach so we could see the crabs running around (see photo to the left).
