The two checks arrived from Social Security, just like they said they would (see photo to the right).
I had Daddy/Daughter Day #120 with Katie this afternoon. We went to the McDonald’s near where CiCi used to work. She got the “2 Cheeseburger Meal” with a Cherry Slushie, which is her norm as of late. Afterwards we went to the nearby Dunkin Donuts drive-thru to get a dozen donuts.
It seems that if you go to Dunkin Donuts towards the end of the day, they are out of most of the donuts you want. In addition, they are not as fresh. It’s much better to go at the start of the day, which I guess is when most people go to Dunkin as they take these donuts to the office…especially today as it is Friday!
We decided to play a bit of a joke on Bobby when we got home. Katie took a few crumbs off the bottom of the box and ran over to Bobby to tell him about the dozen donuts and how she wanted to share them with him. He seemed a bit perplexed at first, but she soon broke down and said she would share. These two kids sure do love their donuts.
