Bobby woke up today complaining of having aches all over. Both my wife and I talked to him and we decided to take him to see the doctor once their office opens at 9am. My wife had to drop some of her books off at UNC, so I took Katie to school this morning. Bobby came along for the ride as we could not leave him home alone.
The doctor went ahead and did blood work on Bobby (see photo to the right). It will take a while for all the blood work to get processed. On the drive home Bobby decided that he felt good enough to go to school. Would the fact that his mother said he could play with the iPad when he gets home, and the fact that once he got there it would be time for recess have influenced this decision?
I picked up Bobby this afternoon. He was not wearing his mask. I texted my wife and she said it’s okay as long as he is outside, which he was. Bobby told me that he wore his mask when he was inside.
When we got home I gave Bobby a bowl of cut up red peppers, something that he requested, and something that he loved.
I drove out to the new Food Lion near Fearrington Village this evening to pick up some groceries. My wife wanted Brie cheese and Katie wanted some Reese’s peanut butter cups.
When I first got home the sky was calm, but as I was taking the groceries out of the trunk of my car, the wind started to blow. Is this due to the Hurricane that is churning off the coast? The kids went outside to play in it.
