Day #4669 (Tue., Oct. 18, 2022) – Sweeping Hair

Remember those Go Yogurt snacks I mentioned a few weeks ago?  The ones that were no longer being sold at Aldi so we bought some from Amazon?  Well, Bobby doesn’t like them anymore.  At first he said that the kids at school were making fun of him during snack time when he ate them as they reminded them of baby food.  Well, on the drive to Glenwood this morning he also said that he doesn’t like the taste anymore?  COVID related?  Not sure…but there are other things he doesn’t eat anymore, like turkey & tomato sandwiches.

So we need something for Bobby to eat during snack time.  He expressed an interest in the chia bars that we used to get at Trader Joe’s, so I went there this morning after dropping him off at Glenwood.  They were having problems with the freezer units so there was no frozen food.  Other things, like yogurt cups were in short supply.  There were so many things missing in fact that I asked one of the workers if they were closing down.  She told me that they are getting new freezers, but nobody has signed off on it yet…  Back to Aldi… 😉

Adan showed up this afternoon.  He was finally able to get his truck fixed.

On the drive home from Glenwood this afternoon Bobby told me that his best friend in class is Manny.  He also told me, “surprise, surprise”, that he likes Mr. Yang and his class now.  In fact, it is his favorite class after PE.  When I asked him why he said that he gets to color in Mr. Yang’s class.  I guess that Mr. Yang passed out drawings of Chinese things and the kids get to color them.  He also likes the fact that they assemble on the carpet in front of the Smart TV and watch videos.

My wife made an appointment for Bobby and I to get our haircut at CiCi’s this afternoon, so off we went!  Bobby’s iPad died while he was there so he offered to help CiCi sweep up the hair on the floor (see photo to the left).

On the way home we picked up a couple of pizzas at Aldi to fee the family.  Katie especially loves the “Mama Cozzi’s Rising Crust Four Cheese” pizza that we get there.  I let Bobby pick out two packages of cookies, and he wanted ice cream sandwiches as well.
