Day #4790 (Thu., Feb. 16, 2023) – Bobby Likes The Violin?
On the trip to Glenwood this morning I joked with Bobby that today was the most important day of the year. Do you think they will have a parade in my honor today?
I picked up Bobby at 2:40 pm, as is the norm. He told me that he had a cheeseburger for lunch. On the drive home I wanted to continue the conversation we had last night. “How can you not like something that you care good at”? I wanted Bobby to answer me… He gets such praise and his teacher Miss Patricia says he has such a great ear and great technique, so how come he doesn’t like it. As my wife was taking he and Katie to viola/violin class tonight he told me that he’s “liking it more”… We’re moving in the right direction!
Katie made me a birthday card (see photo to the left).
What a zoo Katie’s social studies class is. The kids don’t behave and the teacher is not able to get control. Apparently there is a policeman in the school. He needs to come and sit in the class. If he can’t control the class at least he can give some advice on how to proceed. Hard to believe that this is a funnel to East Chapel Hill High, one of the best high schools in the area!
