Day #4978 (Wed., Aug. 23, 2023) – Pool & Carrburrito’s
My wife and I took Bobby to the Clark Pool this morning at 10 am. This is the first time that I have been there this year. Afterwards we drove the short distance to Carrburrito’s for lunch. My wife had a burrito, Bobby had a quesadilla, and I had nachos with a beer. You can see Bobby inspecting his food in the photo to the left. He really liked the “puffy” brown tortilla chips they had. I will have to see if I can get them at the store the next time I go.
This afternoon Ethan’s mom drove Ethan and Bobby to the skating rink in Hillsborough. Ethan is doing extremely well since he only learned how to skate on their last visit. They ventured out into the middle of the rink today. Bobby was sore when he got home but there are plans to go out tomorrow as well.
I found some colored pencils in my desk today and asked Katie if she wanted them. As it turns out, she already has a ton of colored pencils.
NVDA reported earnings after the close today. Another stellar report. The stock is up almost 10% after hours and the analysts say that it will boost the other stocks in the market that rely on AI as well, such as Microsoft and Google.
