Day #5089 (Tue., Dec. 12, 2023) – Chapel Hill High Performance
For some reason my alarm clock didn’t go off till way after 7 am this morning. When I woke up my wife had already taken Bobby to school. She then came back and took Katie to school.
I picked up Katie at Phillips at 3 pm this afternoon as my wife had to take Bobby to the doctor to get his blood work done. As always, Katie was happy to see the green “classic” Camry at the pick up zone… 🙂
There was a concert this evening at Chapel Hill High School for both the high schoolers and Katie’s 8th grade middle school class. Katie’s class was up first, and then they joined the high schoolers for the last song of the evening (see photo to the right). I dropped my wife and Katie off first, and then I took Bobby to McDonalds for an ice cream cone. When we came back my wife had some seats saved. I bought Bobby some Skittles before the show at the concession stand for $2.
My wife tried to get Bobby to take a nap this afternoon but he declined. He was so exhausted during the concert that he fell asleep 1/2 way through. The performance lasted from 7:30 pm to shortly after 9:00 pm, so it was a long night for Bobby.
