Day #5151 (Mon., Feb. 12, 2024) – Bread & Butter Pickles!
Katie is home sick today, but Bobby is feeling fine, so my wife drove him to school this morning. I’m on monthly maintenance now for my allergy shots, so I didn’t need to go to the clinic to get that done today.
My wife took Katie to the doctor this afternoon. Strep test is negative, but we are waiting on other lab results.
I picked up Bobby at the bus stop this afternoon. He told me that he had a cheeseburger for lunch, but they are not as good as those you can get at McDonalds because they don’t have a pickle. I told him that there are things that are called “Bread & Butter” pickles that are sweet…did he want me to get some so that we could make our own cheeseburgers at home? We was less than enthused.
Bobby also told me that the kids at school were all talking about the Super Bowl. I guess the girls all love Taylor Swift, but the guys hate her. They are all into the football aspect of the game, and Bobby said that the word “Kelce” was mentioned, but not “Mahomes”.
