Day #5220 (Sun., Apr. 21, 2024) – Dollar Store Candy
While I was packing boxes in the wee hours this morning, Batman made an appearance. He basically meowed and wandered around on the floor, but low and behold he jumped up onto the LazyBoy where I was sitting. He stayed there for a bit, and got a few pats, and then was off again to atop the cat tree.
The photo to the left shows the cat carrier that we will be taking Batman to Courtney in. My wife made a little litter box in the back of the compartment. This carrier is just the right size to sit on the bottom of the seats between Katie and Bobby. We plan to give some tranquilizer pills that we got from the vet so that he will not be too stressed out with Maple in the car.
Bobby spent most of the day playing on the iPad. Things are so hectic and busy with the move that policing his time has fallen by the wayside.
This afternoon I took Katie to the Dollar Store so that she could get some “sour candy” for the birthday of one of her friends. She has her own credit card now, with her name on it and everything. It’s technically just a credit card linked to my wife’s account, but nobody would know that if you didn’t tell them.
Katie and talked about how some parents won’t let their kids have phones. When it gets to Katie’s age it’s almost a necessity as it becomes a safety issue so you know where they are or if they need to call for assistance. She told me that Tinsley has an Apple watch.
