We drove down the road to take possession of our new home this morning!
We had “Brandy The Cat” to meet us! Bobby really took a liking to it (see photo to the right) and wants to keep it. It doesn’t care for Maple much and hissed at her. In the end our neighbor Caroline took it.
We also have chickens, and a bat in the spare room next to the “Barn Suite”. We have to keep an eye out for eagles as one of them tried to carry a chicken off the other day.
Only one of the gates to our property is automated, so that will cause an issue. We’ll have to get the other gate automated. Who wants to get out of the car every time you want to leave or enter the property?
Bobby was thirsty so I went to Thrifty’s Foods on Ryan Road for some milk, chocolate milk, peanuts, and chocolate muffins.
Later today my wife took Katie “Thrifting”. They are all excited about furnishing the new house as it is practically a blank canvas for them (see photo to the left)!
Bobby and I had a game of “Survivor” this afternoon. Maureen, our previous owner, left this game along with countless other ones behind when she moved. After “Survivor”, we played “Monopoly”.
Maureen stopped by later today to see how we were doing. She told us that our neighbor across the road was from Nova Scotia.
