I took my son to see “Despicable Me 4” at Landmark Cinemas in Courtenay this afternoon (see photo to the left). We sat in the back in the nice soft easy chairs that they have been outfitted with. We each got the kids combo, and I also picked up a package of “Nibs” for us to munch on. While we were getting our tickets I also purchased four tickets to the Andre Real concert which will be shown in this same theater on August 24th. The lady told me to take a picture of these tickets in case we lose them. As long as they can read the barcode we are fine.
Next up after the show was a quick stop at Canadian Tire to pick up a sprinkler for my wife. This is the cheapie model for $24, but it should do the trick.
After that, we went to Wendy’s so that Bobby could try out the “White Chocolate Strawberry Frostie” he saw on a sign as we were going to the show. He also helped me eat my “Baconator” hamburger, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We were both amazed that all the strawberry flavor in the Frostie was in the bottom of the cup.
Someone sent my wife a shoe rack and we’re not exactly sure who. We have a “mud room” in the main house, so we don’t really need it there, so it’s in the “Barn Suite” now (see photo to the right).

There was an assassination attempt on the life of Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, PA this evening. He was grazed in the ear, but someone in the audience, and the shooter, are both dead. These are violent times my friends!
