This morning Amanda sent me a text saying that the property on Anderton Road that we were thinking of getting went for $930,000… I’m glad we didn’t get it. We all like this property so much better!
The photo to the left shows the swing at the back of our property. Katie loves to go out and swing from time to time as she says it is very relaxing. Including in the evening, even when the sun goes down, she will take the flashlight to light her way. It doesn’t have the swing range of the rope swing that I made for her in Chapel Hill, but at least it’s something. She also doesn’t like that it’s not secluded enough. Not that any of our neighbors, given their age, are about to go “popping in” to see what she is doing…
The photo to the right shows the assortment of chicken feed that I fed the chickens today. Some of their regular seed meal, some white rice, and some tortilla chips. They really took to the tortilla chips. They would pick them up and move them to an area where no other chicken could get at it, peck it into tiny pieces, and gobble them down.
Bobby got a little basketball hoop to fit over the door of his room. There was some discussion on how to put it together, but we managed to figure it out. I went down to Home Depot to pick up some screws but as it turns out we didn’t need any.
Donald Trump gave his acceptance speech at the GOP convention this evening. The voices to get Joe Biden to step down at growing louder. Things are starting to heat up…
