Day #5601 – (Wed., May 7, 2025) – Superstore Haul!
Our rooster is getting a bit more daring. He’s venturing out into the coop more, which is nice. I was able to get a clearer look at the side of his chest and it does look like he was injured. Like an eagle or hawk attacked him. Not a bit of wonder he’s been “Skittish”!
My wife and kids are still sick today so I went to the Superstore for supplies. It was quite the ordeal and took hours as I usually don’t shop at the Real Canadian Superstore. I prefer Walmart. Anyway, once I entered I saw that they had a sale on Easter candy, so I also picked up a couple of bunnies for the kids (se photo to the right).
On the way home I stopped off at McDonalds and picked up a “2 Cheeseburger EVM” and ice cream cone for the kids. The same thing for both Katie and Bobby!
As of this evening my wife and Bobby are doing better. Bobby napped this afternoon. Katie is still rather sick. Bobby might even be able to go to school tomorrow.
Oh, regarding the Superstore shopping, I got pretty well everything on this list I was given:

- aged cheddar cheese (it’s close to cranberry cheese in superstore)

- chia seeds
