Both kids went to school today but Katie was not feeling well and wanted to come home early. My wife took her to Urgent Care and the doctor thinks it’s another virus. I went upstairs to check on Batman this afternoon and Katie was sleeping. She says her voice sounds like a chainsaw if she doesn’t clear it.

MARS says that the Pine Siskin bird they dropped off on Saturday is doing fine. In a few days they can come and pick him up and release him back into our neighborhood.
I went to Costco this afternoon and picked up some supplies for the family. Milk is always a stable, but this time they wanted some fixings for their new Creami ice cream maker. They didn’t have mint Oreo cookies so I got a box of the regular ones. They also wanted some seaweed, gummies, marinara sauce, orange juice, juice packs, ground turkey, pickles, bananas, and ricotta cheese.
I’ve had enough of this desktop PC so when I went to Costco this afternoon I picked up another one. I’m not exactly sure what the problem is, but when I click and double-click the windows sometimes open and sometimes do not. In addition, the internet will not connect at times, and is slow at others. I bought this PC back in 2020, and it will not upgrade to Windows 11 as it is too old. They stop support for Windows 10 this fall, so it’s time to get a new one with all the safeguards rather than risk having an unsupported Windows 10 be hacked and infect all my files. This ole’ PC has served me well, but it’s time to go “bye bye”…
