Day #5639 – (Sat., June 14, 2025) – Leo V’s Birthday At Huband!
My wife and Katie had a girls day out today. They went to get some COVID shots, but had a hard time finding one for Katie. They ended up at Comox Valley Pharmacy, which is the same pharmacy that Paxlovid. They also picked up a Starbucks and went to a scrapbooking store (see photo to the left) where Katie picked up some some papers for scrapbooking at $0.25 each and a glue gun.
Leo V, who came to our house for a play date with Bobby last summer, had his birthday at Huband Elementary school today! It was from 2-5 and when my wife couldn’t make it home in time she asked me to drop Bobby off. Well, I didn’t need to as he decided to take his bike. I did have to remind him to take his birthday present though… 🙂 He had a great time, and came back after 5 pm.
On the way back home Bobby off his new electric bike. He got scraped a bit, but was happy otherwise. I talked to him about it and he’s going down the hills a bit too fast. It will take him some time to get used to the bike and what he can and can’t do…
This afternoon I “weed wacked” the long grass on the side of our main pasture. It was getting REALLY tall and it’s nice to see it back to manageable levels!
