The guys from Tower Fencing showed up this morning to put our gate posts down. Metal with cement (see photo to the right). Dave said we let the concrete cure and return to complete the job after the gates are fabricated/powder coated, which typically takes 1-2 weeks. The electrician can run power after we install the posts, and then Scott can install the motor after the gate is installed.

Today is the first day of Bobby’s Huband “Bike Instruction”. When I picked him up at school he told me that they had a bike ride between the recesses. They also had some time to do some face painting (see photo to the left).
After picking Bobby up at Huband we went to Nomad’s Barbershop near the 5th Street Bridge for a haircut. Daniel, the stylist that Bobby loved so much last time, was there and took him in. My haircut was given by the 14-year old son of the owner. He told me that he does online school so that he can spend more time with his hobbies and learning skills, like hair cutting. He was not sure if he was going to take over the shop from his father, but liked the idea of having this skill so he could travel and make money while doing it.
While at Nomad’s my wife and Katie stopped in to say hello. They were shopping for gifts to take to Lithuania in the downtown area. My wife also picked up some measuring cups and a few extension cords at the “Too Good To Be Thru” thrift shop.
After leaving with our new haircuts Bobby wanted to get an ice cream cone at the shop next door. A cone of “Chocolate Coconut/Mint Chocolate Chip”. He also picked out some macaroons to eat later.
This evening Mr. Valentine, the rooster, went missing!
