Katie relocated her journal area today.
Lina, Tomas wife, said that Bobby is so sweet she wanted to squish him (see photo to the right).
I went out for a coffee this afternoon and as I turned onto Lerwick I was snap dad in the middle of an antique car parade! You can’t believe how many people were on the roadside just waiting to see my 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid! They waved, so I honked and waved back at them! As I passed you could hear them laughing at that old Ford Model T behind me!!!
Later today Katie watched a video about the black plague and got inspired to do a drawing of it.
Since the family is sick they left the souvenirs that they picked up for me on the door of the main house. It included a souvenir London “spoon” that sits on the counter and holds dirty spoons, a Lithuania spoon souvenir, and a London guitar pick.
Katie made plans to get together with her friends this Tuesday. She’s nervous, but I told her that they would be so happy to see her and hear of all her adventures in Europe
Bobby rode his bike later today when my wife and Katie took Maple for a walk. Brodie’s family was out playing and the kids wanted to turn around. My wife didn’t like that idea so they pressed on. A few boys ran out to see Bobby and he ended up staying to play with them for about an hour. When he got home all three played UNO and had dinner together.
