Katie went to school today but Bobby stayed home sick today. He was complaining that his ears hurt and was throwing up in the AM. He had a fever last night, but not this morning. He napped for 2.5 hours this afternoon!
Katie has been looking for some fiction books to read. I told her what I read when I was in high school. My wife bought some books for her (see photo to the right). These are books that are not in our public library.

- Powerless by Lauren Roberts.
- The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.
Katie had a good day at school today. She is doing really well in her classes, especially math.
My wife got an appointment for Bobby at Urgent Care this evening. His ears looked fine, but he has a fever now. Apparently COVID is running rampant in the Comox Valley now!
I went out to Thrifty’s for supplies this evening. My wife wanted chicken noodle soup, maple syrup, and unsweetened applesauce.
Bobby felt much better this evening. So much so in fact that my wife and him played ping pong and a bit of pool in our makeshift “rec room” in the garage.
Tomas’s girl Sofia turned 4 last month, so today is her first day of school. Apparently she was ‘Beatrice’ in her preschool, lead all the kids….
