Katie has really taken to the hens. She enjoys feeding them by hand (see photo to the left). Even Valentine gets the special treatment these days.
Bobby rode his bike to school this morning but there was a flat tire that happened either on the way to school or the way home. I tried to find out from Bobby if it was deflating within the past few days and he’s not sure, so perhaps he struck a nail? Or maybe some kid at school decided to deflate his tire? At any rate I didn’t find out till late tonight and the wheel on the back tire is so small that the pump would not fit into the nozzle. Probably all for the best. I will put the bike in the van and take it to one of the cycling shops around town tomorrow, one of those that specializes in electric bikes. It looks pretty simple enough to change the tire, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. I would hate to have some of the E-Bike electronics spill out because I’m not familiar enough with this type of machine. When I was younger we took our bikes apart all the time, but this is an entirely different animal.
The kids had group viola/violin class at Daisy’s tonight. Katie was the only teenager there and Daisy asked her to help out, so she was in her glory.
