Black’s Cycle in Comox is apparently the authority in eBikes, but they are closed today, so Bobby will have to wait one more day to get his bike tire fixed.

My wife went to an assembly at Huband Elementary this morning.
We have started giving the chickens vitamins and have a new holder for their veggies (see photo to the right).
My wife picked Katie up after school today and she was very excited about going to the Superstore for groceries. I asked her why and she said that she was “tired of living in a barren wasteland”. Roughly translated this might mean that she’s had a hankering for “potato chips”…
Katie got an 89 on her science test today. She says that she could have done better but “whatever”. She is very excited about having Tuesday and Wednesday off this week. Tuesday is a Federal Holiday called the “Day of Truth and Reconciliation”. Wednesday is her flex day.
Katie was very excited that the chickens were overly friendly to her today. She said that as she was coming back from Robert’s gate (or neighbor’s gate) they all came up to greet her. I don’t have the heart to tell her that they do that for any human as they might have food… 🙂 She also noted that Valentine was perched up high in the coop, but at least he was not facing the wall, which is progress.
The neighbors had a bonfire tonight so Katie wanted to lock them into the coop early so that they wouldn’t have to smell the smoke.
